Shenzhou double DMUs, i.e. NZJ2 type power centralized double-deck internal combustion DMUs, are jointly developed by Dalian Locomotive and Rolling Stock Factory, Changchun Bus Factory, Sifang Locomotive and Rolling Stock Factory and Beijing Railway Bureau, and a total of five sets of 10 locomotives (NZJ2 0001-0005) and four double-deck unpowered trailers with 40 sections were produced between 2000 and 2003. The NZJ2 Shenzhou locomotive is one of the main models of quasi high-speed internal combustion locomotives of China Railway. Its predecessor was the NZJ1 "New Dawn". The NZJ2 was used as the Beijing-Tianjin intercity express passenger train between 2000 and 2007, and was retired in 2007 when the Harmony train set and the Beijing-Tianjin Intercity Railway were put into operation, and the NZJ2 was deployed to the Wuhan Railway Bureau and the Nanning Railway Bureau to serve as an express train under their control.
2. Project Description
The bullet train's front end adopts the world's more advanced distributed computer control system, which can avoid "total paralysis" due to a failure in one place. This is a hot treatment furnace with size 10.5m×8m×8m. The manufacture base also equipped with lifting capacity of 25t, 50t, 100t, 200t overhead crane to handle heavy workpiece and assembly work.
