Product Description

Product Name:
Nitrogen Fertilizer/Urea 46 prilled granular/urea fertilizer 46-0-0/urea N46% nitrogen fertilizer

Brief Introduction:
Nitrogen fertilizer refers to a unit fertilizer with nitrogen (N) as the main component and N labeled amount, which can provide plant nitrogen nutrition when applied to the soil. Nitrogen fertilizer is the fertilizer variety with the largest production and usage of fertilizers in the world; The appropriate amount of nitrogen fertilizer plays an important role in increasing crop yield and improving the quality of agricultural products. Nitrogen fertilizer can be divided into ammonia nitrogen fertilizer, ammonium nitrogen fertilizer, nitrate nitrogen fertilizer, ammonium nitrate nitrogen fertilizer, cyanamide nitrogen fertilizer, and amide nitrogen fertilizer according to their nitrogen-containing groups.

Different Kinds:
I.Ammonium Nitrogen Fertilizer
Ammonium nitrogen fertilizers include ammonium bicarbonate (NH4HCO3), ammonium sulfate {(NH4) 2SO4}, ammonium chloride (NH4Cl), ammonia water (NH3 · H2O), liquid ammonia (NH3), etc.
Common characteristics of ammonium nitrogen fertilizers:
1. Ammonium nitrogen fertilizer is easily adsorbed by soil colloids and partially enters the crystal layer of clay minerals.
2. Ammonium nitrogen is easily oxidized to nitrate.
3. Ammonia is prone to volatilization and loss in alkaline environments.
4. High concentrations of ammonium nitrogen can easily cause toxicity to crops.
5. Excessive absorption of ammonium nitrogen by crops has a certain inhibitory effect on the absorption of calcium, magnesium, and potassium.

II.Nitrate Nitrogen Fertilizer
Common characteristics of nitrate nitrogen:
1. Easy to dissolve in water and move quickly in soil.
2. NO3- absorption is the main absorption, and crops are prone to absorbing nitrate.
3. Nitrate fertilizers have no inhibitory effect on the absorption of nutrients such as calcium, magnesium, and potassium by crops.
4. Nitrates are negatively charged anions that cannot be adsorbed by soil colloids.
5. Nitrates are easily reduced to gaseous states (NO, N2O, N2) through denitrification and escape from the soil.

III.Ammonium Nitrate Nitrogen Fertilizer
Ammonium nitrate nitrogen fertilizer includes ammonium nitrate, calcium ammonium nitrate, and ammonium sulfate nitrate.

IV.Amide Nitrogen Fertilizer
Amide nitrogen fertilizer - urea {CO (NH2) 2}, containing 46.7% N, is the fertilizer with the highest nitrogen content in solid nitrogen.

Urea:
Urea is the first artificially synthesized organic compound, widely present in nature, such as fresh human feces containing 0.4% urea.
Nicknames: carbamide, carbamide, urea.
Molecular formula: CO (NH2) 2, named urea because it is present in human urine. Urea contains 46% nitrogen (N), which is the highest nitrogen content in solid nitrogen fertilizers.

Production methods:
In industry, liquid ammonia and carbon dioxide are used as raw materials to directly synthesize urea under high temperature and pressure conditions. The chemical reaction is as follows: 2NH3+CO2 → NH2COONH4 → CO (NH2) 2+H2O. Urea is easily soluble in water and can dissolve 105g in 100mL of water at 20 ºC. The aqueous solution exhibits a neutral reaction. There are two types of urea products. Crystalline urea has a white needle shaped or prismatic crystal shape and strong hygroscopicity. Granular urea is a semi transparent particle with a particle size of 1-2mm, which has a smooth appearance and significantly improved moisture absorption. At 20 ºC, the critical moisture absorption point is 80% relative humidity, but at 30 ºC, the critical moisture absorption point drops to 72.5%. Therefore, urea should be avoided from being stored open in humid summer climates. Adding hydrophobic substances such as paraffin to urea production greatly reduces its hygroscopicity.
